In recent years, MEPAT’s Technical Office has undergone significant transformation. Expanding the team, digitalizing processes such as offer calculations, and integrating decision-making with production have been decisive steps to strengthen its strategic role within the company.
Today, the Technical Office serves as the bridge between the client and the workshop, designing customized solutions and validating drawings that ensure precision in every manufactured part.

The complexity of today’s projects—especially in demanding sectors such as railway and defense—requires total control over materials, tolerances, and welding processes.
The use of tools such as 3D CAD, TRU TOPS Boost, and Solid Edge, combined with verification templates and the future integration of CAD with the ERP, ensures full traceability and total quality control.
Each project is analyzed with reference to previous manufacturing, applying standards such as EN 15085 for railway welding, and ensuring that materials meet the specific requirements of each client.
The coming years mark a new phase for the department. The Technical Office is preparing to advance process automation, including automatic launch of repetitive production orders, integration of Calculate with the MRP system, and the application of artificial intelligence for time and cost optimization.
